Since its inception in 1991, Fromm Winery has established a pioneer reputation in Marlborough, setting new standards for their red wines, in particular Pinot Noir. Georg Fromm and Pol Lenzinger are the company principals. Georg is a 4th generation winegrower, with more than 35 years experience in viticulture and winemaking. Pol is a successful entrepreneur with a passion for great wine. Combined, their experience and knowledge is the backbone of the companys business. Their philosophy behind making great wines concurs - essentially the process starts in the vineyard. With attention to detail to produce high quality fruit, all vineyards are close planted, and follow the principles of sustainable, organic viticulture cared for by the Fromm vineyard staff.
