Back in the 70s, when we planted our vineyard growing grapes was regarded as dodgy - the Rural Bank told us to think about sheep - there would be no future in wine. But we wanted to make beautiful wine and we still do. I can honestly say there has never been a day in the past 25 years when we thought we had it all sorted.
